A quiet, ordinary morning for Rachel comes to an abrupt end when her incarcerated brother, Bradley, appears in her living room. Rachel concocts a plan to bring him to their uncle's remote cabin in the woods where he can hide. Despite his initial hesitations, she convinces him to go along with it. But as they get closer and closer to escaping, they find themselves forced to confront the events that led to Bradley's arrest twelve years earlier, and it quickly becomes clear that whether or not they survive this day may depend on their ability to forgive one another.
